Help shape the future of CRD Regional Parks and Trails


CRD is preparing a new Strategic Plan that will set the direction for the regional parks and trails system over the coming decade. We want you to help shape its future!

A Citizen Advisory Panel has been set up to help us prepare the strategic plan. Panel members and Regional Parks are engaging the public to ensure ideas, opinions, values and issues are known and considered in preparing the plan.

To get involved, your organization can attend one of the upcoming community engagement meetings being held in May or we invite your representative(s) to address the Citizen Advisory Panel directly on Saturday, May 29. This meeting is being held specifically for organizations throughout the district to make a scheduled presentation to the Citizen Advisory Panel and Regional Parks staff.

You may RSVP to address the panel by calling 250.360.3338 or email visionforparks@crd.bc.ca no later than May 10. Presentations are limited to ten minutes.

I’ve also included a response form in the event your organization is not able to attend any of the meetings in person.
