Hello World,
Just wanted to take a moment to point out a couple of updates to the VIMB.com website that I have been working on lately. I have been trying to find some time to add much needed content to a few key areas, “Maps and Where to Ride” as well as creating a “Mountain Bike Tech” page. If you hit up the “More…” (that is updated too) link in the site header, you will see then new pages I have added, the ones that have been updated, and the ones that were there before, and remain much the same.
Maps and Where to Ride is a mixture of donated maps, links to riding resources as well as local and not so local trail resource information. I have included a good mix of sites and info, but as always this is a work in progress. If you have any links, maps, sites or good trail resources, please send me an e-mail or post up in the Forum. I will be happy to get them included. I am especially interested in Vancouver Island stuff, but that probably goes without saying.
Mountain Bike Tech page is an idea I have been tossing around for a while. I have seen a few site out there with similar information, but not always exactly what I was looking for personally. I have tried to start by setting up access to the sites and to the manufacturers that I know my friends and peers ride, but there is sooooo much out there, that I have barely scratched the surface. PLEASE send me what you have in the way of tech resource links, warranty site info, tech video or “how to’s”, anything that I have missed.
More to come…as soon as I find the time. Like that phpBB upgrade I have been promising, and that gallery too!
