VANCOUVER May 16, 2012 – This summer Mountain Biking BC will partner with BC Bike Ride and Endless Biking to provide the ultimate road trip experience and to make one lucky rider’s dreams come true. The 7 Day Giveaway Contest offers the chance to visit seven destinations across British Columbia to explore some of the province’s legendary trails, accompanied by some of the best guides and coaches in the industry. To top it off the winner can bring along their best riding buddy to join in the adventure.

Organized by The Dockside Mountain Bike Society to promote urban cycling and showcase Victoria as an ideal city to live, work, and play.”

MOUNTAIN BIKING BC GIVING AWAY DREAM BIKING TOUR OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

A Week Exploring Seven Epic Destinations With Tour Company BC Bike Ride

 

BRITISH COLUMBIA May 30, 2011 – This summer Mountain Biking BC will partner with BC Bike Ride, a mountain bike tour company specializing in providing the ultimate road trip experience, to make one rider’s dreams come true. Mountain bikers can enter to win a seven-day epic to seven destinations across British Columbia via mountain bike, B.C. Ferries and helicopter to explore the province’s awesome singletrack terrain.

 

To enter riders just need to submit their name to www.mountainbikingbc.ca or on the Mountain Biking BC Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mountainbikingbc.ca. Ten people will be randomly chosen from all entries to write a short essay explaining why they are the most deserving to win this once in a lifetime trip.

Keg Steakhouse Thanks a Million Vote!

Hello All,

I received an e-mail this morning about a contest sponsored by the Keg Steakhouse. The Keg is celebrating its 40th year of operation by offering 40 x $25,000.00 dollar grants to groups in the communities they operate in. We are lucky enough to have a few groups in our area who applied and were selected for a chance at 25K! One of them in near and dear to our hearts, the North Saanich Bike Park!

All you need to do is to visit the Keg’s 40th Anniversary site, drill down to the Victoria page and vote for the bike park! The voting ends June 14th, so hurry and get your vote in.

Support your local Bike Park volunteers…$25,000.00 will go a long way to finishing the park!
