Are you ready? Starting June 1st 2012 and continuing on until June 24th is the Victoria International Cycling Festival! Arguably one of the biggest cycling events in the country, especially given recent events in the cycling world. This is not one to be missed. Over the 24 days there will be Time Trials, races, sprints, Jump Ship, and Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria! All starting off with a big party at the Phillips Brewery (awesome brews btw).

From June 1-24, cyclists gather in Victoria, BC to enjoy dozens of different cycling events and activities in the cycling capital of Canada.

Island Cup Prevost Results

The Island Cup Race Series hit My Prevost in Duncan this weekend (my personal favorite trails), and from all accounts it was a great success. There were some really quick times lead by the race winner (Expert Men’s) Dean Tennant with a time of 4:08:00…wow. Results here! Cowichan Cycles was the sponsor for this years race, and it sounds like they did a stellar job. Of course events like this are not possible without a host of volunteers as well, so a big thanks to them too.
