Rocky Mountain Demo Day @ Oak Bay Bikes Westshore
This coming Saturday May the 15th from 9 AM to 6 PM, Oak Bay Bikes (OBB) Westshore is the place to be if you are looking to throw a leg over a new Rocky Mountain! There is a sweet selection of the latest 2010 Rockys for your testing pleasure, so head on out to see Ken and the rest of the OBB crew and kick the tires on your new ride?
Oh and let’s not forget the organized group ride! At 11 AM and the again at 1 PM there will be shuttles provided to Harbourview Road from Westshore Bikes location. From there you will be given the Mt Quimper tour by Canadian National Team Coach Geoff Pendrel and Ken Perras of OBB Westshore… wicked.
Bring the kids, bring your ROCKY in for a “Free Tune Up” and dont forget to enter the free draw to win a bike during the grand opening the 5th of June.

On April 25th 2010 many of the VIMB.com regulars (affectionately and more commonly known as the Wrecking Crew) dog piled into a few Vehicles and headed to Vancouver’s North Shore for a day of fun and frivolity. There was by my count 15 of us that day, which in itself can be somewhat of a nightmare to organize. VIMB.com regular and Oak Bay Bikes West Shore front man Ken P got the vote (took control?) and became “Ride Leader” for this one. This was good for 2 reasons:
