Sooke Tourism Video for 2010 (Warning NBR)

January 29th, 2010

Just a wee Sooke related video that people linked to in the forum today. I am stoked to be able to help support tourism on the island in any way, especially when we can show the masses just how amazing it is here! Watching a video like this makes me realize why I moved back here (I love Vancouver, but this place is amazing). Oh and just so you are aware, this is NOT a mountain biking video… sorry.

Enjoy, tell your friends SPEND MONIES!!

Old VIMB Logo Blue

Hello All,
Welcome to the “New and Improved” Vancouver Island Mountain Biking (VIMB) website. Here you will be able to find some good information on where to ride, who to ride with and what to bring to ride. My goal is to provide a portal of sorts to Mountain Bike riding on Vancouver Island with a focus on the local Victoria BC community. I am hoping to soon add a Maps page to the site, with a bunch of GREAT local riding maps. Many of these maps have been created by locals with some serious mapping and trail building skills.

I am also in the process of adding a Photo Gallery to the site, this is your place to find local trails photos and shots from around the Island and the province. Many of the VIMB.com wrecking crew are avid photographers, so check back for some quality stuff!

All/Most/Some of this is still on the drawing table, for now just the basics (online/new template/new look and feel etc…). Please check back soon for the new stuff I mentioned above, and thanks for checking out VIMB.com!

Oh and please take the time to visit the Forum and join up.

Thanks for looking, come back soon!

Hello Again,
Wow, 2 posts on one day. Some of you may not know this yet… but VIMB is funded in part by Lorien Arnold of Sooke Mountain Cycle. He has made a commitment to me to partner with VIMB to help keep the community forum online. This is not an overly expensive undertaking, but let me tell you, every little bit helps.

Stay tuned for more information on Sooke Mountain Cycle from the man himself, or check out the VIMB.com Forum section dedicated to Sooke Mountain Cycle!

Thanks for looking,
