TAKE THE SURVEY BEFORE JUNE 27TH, 2011!
IMBA needs your help with some very time sensitive information.
The BC Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts is conducting a fact finding mission to compile information of non-commercial events held on crown land. The Ministry Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations will require Special Event Permits for activities hosted by non-commercial groups due to some negative public feedback by motorized activities. As it happens non-motorized groups have now been included in the permit process.
Our goal is to minimize the number of events that will require a special event permit. Therefore, I have written a short survey for clubs to fill out. The information gathered by this survey will used to report back to government about mountain bike activities on crown land.
Please take a few minutes to answer some multiple choice questions, I will need this information by June 27th.
